Job summary

EDGE is leading a cadre of technologies centered in Abu Dhabi through POWERTECH, focusing on propulsion and aerospace systems. The role involves verifying safety-critical embedded software, developing tests from requirements, and coordinating with software, system, and certification teams to ensure robust verification pipelines.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in C/C++ development, RTOS knowledge, and DO-178C experience, with hands-on HIL testing and tool proficiency (Git/JIRA/DOORS/JAMA).

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer, Electrical/Electronics, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in C and/or C++ programming languages.
• Experience in software development and/or software verification processes including RTOS and DO-178C.

Responsibilities

• Perform software verification activities for safety-critical embedded software.
• Develop requirements-based test procedures.
• Execute test runs and analyze results.
• Perform software analyses such as data/control coupling and structural coverage analysis.
• Document verification results and prepare verification reports.
• Maintain requirements traceability between requirements, tests, and code.
• Support HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) test setup, execution, and verification activities.
• Work in coordination with software, system, and certification teams.
