EDGE in Abu Dhabi is seeking a seasoned Embedded Hardware Engineer to lead the design of ECUs for propulsion systems, combining analog/digital circuitry, PCB layouts, and rigorous testing. You will collaborate with systems, software, and certification teams, ensure EMC/EMI compliance, and drive hardware development from concept through qualification, with a tax-free salary and global opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
5+ years hands-on experience in embedded and/or control hardware design.
Strong knowledge of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design.

Responsibilities

Develop hardware architectures for Engine Control Units (ECUs).
Design analog, digital, and mixed-signal control hardware circuits.
Design DSP-, MCU-, and MPU-based control boards.
Design low-power supply and voltage regulation circuits.
Define and manage interfaces between system components, sensors, and actuators.
Perform schematic design and PCB layout activities.
Perform simulation, analysis, and design verification activities.
Perform hardware low-level, functional, and integration testing.
Analyze test results and prepare technical test reports.
Design hardware in accordance with EMC/EMI and environmental qualification requirements.
