Job summary

Waagner Biro Bridge Services in Dubai seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead the replacement of 14 elevators at pedestrian bridges across multiple locations. You will be responsible for delivering the project safely, on time, and within budget, in line with client specifications and UAE regulations.

The ideal candidate holds a engineering degree and at least 10 years of project management experience, including 5 years in elevator installation or similar infrastructure in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or civil engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years of project management experience overall.
• 5 years in elevator installation/replacement or similar UAE infrastructure projects.
• Experience with RTA or government infrastructure projects is a plus.
• PMP certification and UAE driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project from mobilization to final handover.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor all site activities, resources, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, HSE requirements, and contract obligations.
• Coordinate with the Client, consultants, authorities, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Monitor project schedule, cost, risks, and progress, implementing corrective actions where required.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and successful project handover.
• Prepare regular progress reports and attend project meetings.
