Job summary

KBR, Inc. in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Engineer, Maintenance (Electrical) to support a major ADNOC project. The role focuses on ensuring reliable electrical distribution, SCADA performance, and world-class maintenance practices across plants.

The candidate will lead troubleshooting, perform root-cause analyses, supervise preventive maintenance programs, and coordinate with ADNOC, TRANSCO, and other partners to maintain safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• 15+ years in EPC/oil & gas with 8+ years in electrical engineering/maintenance.
• Experience with API/ANSI/NEMA/NFPA/NEC/IEC standards.
• Knowledge of Transformers, switchgear, motor controls, protection, SCADA, and VFDs.
• Mega FEED/EPC project experience (> $1B).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical input to update specifications with latest industry trends.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical maintenance issues safely.
• Coordinate with ADNOC/TRANSCO for work and switching activities.
• Plan and supervise preventive maintenance and RCM programs for electrical systems.
• Ensure availability and reliability of electrical equipment across plants.
