Job summary
KBR Inc. in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Engineer, Metering to plan and supervise maintenance of instrument and control systems across mega EPC projects.
Based on site, you will coordinate with operations and other maintenance teams to ensure reliable functioning of metering equipment. Responsibilities include planning maintenance, supporting field activities, performing root cause analyses, and coordinating with suppliers and contractors to optimize uptime and safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control or Electronics.
- 12 years of Instrument and Control engineering and maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of MS Excel/maintenance planning practices is implied.
Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise maintenance activities for instrument and control systems.
- Coordinate with operations and other maintenance teams to ensure reliability.
- Provide technical field support for critical maintenance activities.
- Allocate manpower for preventive, breakdown and shutdown maintenance.
- Monitor materials, spares and tools to ensure continuous availability.
- Conduct root cause analysis of failures and recommend solutions.
- Support development, implementation and commissioning of new projects.
- Review HIRA and change management per plant requirements
- Ensure readiness of PM plans in Maximo and data quality
