Job summary

KBR is seeking an Engineer, Metering based in Abu Dhabi for a PMC project. The role focuses on planning and supervising maintenance of instrument and control systems, coordinating with operations to ensure reliability, and providing technical field support to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in MEGA EPC projects, strong knowledge of instrument and control systems, and a solid background in HSE practices within large industrial settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation and Control or Electronics is required.
• 12 years of experience in Instrument and Control engineering and maintenance.
• Experience with HSE in a plant environment in oil & gas is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise maintenance activities for instrument & control systems.
• Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure reliable functioning.
• Provide field technical support for critical maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Allocate manpower for preventive, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance.
• Monitor materials, spares, and tools to ensure availability and cost control.
• Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and recommend improvements.
