Job summary

KBR Inc. in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for an onshore PMC project. The role provides site‑level maintenance support, coordinates with office teams, and feeds operational feedback into new projects and field development.

You will lead electrical maintenance analysis, prepare procedures and safe job analyses for major activities, ensure electrical history files are up to date, and review engineering packages and technical proposals submitted to Site.

• Ensures electrical maintenance and equipment history files are updated and complete for changes or modifications; submits regular task and technical reports.
• Provides site technical feedback to Project Engineering to capture operational experience in new projects.
• Initiates electrical-related facility modification requests; reviews engineering packages for site comments.
• Participates in preparation of the CC and ACPT electrical yearly budget estimates.
• Coordinates safety surveys and inspections with Zakum Services and ensures corrective actions.

KBR is looking for Senior Electrical Engineer with Onshore Site project experience in MEGA EPC projects to be based in Abu Dhabi for PMC project.

3. JOB PURPOSE

Provide Site level maintenance technical support. Coordinates on technical issues within Site and with relevant support functions in the office. Provides relevant input to reflect operational feedback into new projects and Field Development.

4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Job Specific Accountabilities

• Ensures that all electrical maintenance work is carried out in accordance with professional standards to best serve achievement of production targets and plant / equipment integrity.
• Leads site technical analysis, problem investigation, equipment/plant testing and follow up on performance and recording systems
• Participates in the preparation of electrical maintenance related procedures and safe job analysis (SJA’s) for major electrical activities.
• Ensures that the electrical maintenance and equipment history files are correctly updated and completed for any changes or modifications. Submits regular task reports and specific technical reports as required.
• Provides site technical experience feedback to Project Engineering and execution to ensure operational experience is captured in new projects.
• Initiates electrical related facility modification requests and reviews engineering packages / technical proposals / documents for modifications and projects submitted to Site by functional departments for comments.
• Participates in the preparation of the CC and ACPT electrical yearly budget estimate.
• In coordination with concerned Zakum Services, initiates regular safety surveys and inspections and ensures corrective actions are taken to bring electrical equipment to required standards.
