Job summary

9E Global in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Electrical Engineering professional to lead on-site supervision of complex aviation-related infrastructure projects, including aircraft hangars, workshops, and logistics areas.

You will prepare technical submittals, coordinate with design and QS teams, review shop drawings, and oversee safety compliance while driving on-time delivery and high-quality outcomes on Middle East projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12-15 years of experience on site and in engineering consultancy firms.
• Qualified graduate engineer in Electrical Engineering.
• Master's Degree/Chartered Engineering status will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Middle East projects will be highly preferred.
• Experience in airport, aviation, aircraft hangar, or other complex infrastructure projects will be considered an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the on-site supervision of logistics, and electrical works across aircraft hangars, maintenance bays, workshops, warehouses, logistics areas, plant rooms, operational buildings, and associated external works.
• Prepare technical submittals, RFIs, load schedules, voltage drop calculations, and single-line diagrams.
• Attend and act on contractor inspection requests (WIR, MIR) and identify non-compliant work for corrective actions.
• Monitor project progress, verify payments, conduct site walks, and coordinate with QS, commercial teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance to resolve on-site electrical issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations and specifications.
• Lead project delivery, ensuring timely material coordination, quality assurance, and adherence to timelines and standards.
• Review electrical shop drawings, coordination drawings, material submittals, equipment schedules, method statements, inspection and test plans, RFIs, technical deviations, and commissioning procedures for compliance with the contract and approved design.
• Monitor contractor resources and progress against the approved programme, identify interface constraints and delays, assess proposed recovery measures, and maintain accurate supervision records to support progress, change, and claims reviews.

• Comply with local regulatoryauthority guidelines and laws pertaining to QHSE.
• Report any QHSE incidentsimmediately to 9E QHSE Dept. and to legal authorities if required.
• Abide Client/Contractor QHSErequirements and acquire site induction before mobilizing at sites.
