Job summary

9E Global Engineering Consultants LLC is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering consultancy and strong site exposure in the UAE. Experience on Middle East projects is highly preferred and a Masters or Chartered status is a plus.

The role focuses on supervising electrical works, reviewing shop drawings and calculations, conducting site inspections, and providing technical input to resolve on-site issues within ELV and low current systems.

Responsibilities

• Works independently and as part of a team to complete supervision activities.
• Review electrical shop drawings, calculations, and method statements.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure construction complies with approved designs.
• Provide technical input to resolve electrical on-site issues.
• Installation, testing and commissioning of ELV and Low Current systems (CCTV, Tel/Data, Intercom, Access control, Lighting control, Disable toilet Alarm, Fire Alarm, VESDA, Central Battery System).
• Liaise daily with design team, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Support supervision and coordination of project documentation and filing systems; manage project-related correspondence.
• Implement QA procedures and CDM requirements; monitor progress and resolve design/detailing issues in meetings.

Develop a network of contacts on each contract. Concentrate on developing a unified commitment of excellence in dealing with site and design team colleagues.

ProjectRole

• Works independently and as part of a team to complete specific supervision activities assigned.
• Review electrical shop drawings,calculations,andmethod statements.
• Conduct site inspectionswhen neededto ensure construction complies with approved designs.
• Providing technical input and experiences to resolve any electrical related issues on site that may arise.
• Installation, Testing and Commissioning of ELV and Low Current systems such as CCTV, Tel/Data, Intercom,Access control system, Lighting control system, Disable toilet Alarm, Fire Alarm System, VESDA, CentralBattery System, etc.
• Liaising and corresponding daily with the design team, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Supporting supervision and coordination of project documentation and filing systems
• Receiving and managing all project-related correspondence
• Implementing the project QA procedures and CDM requirements
• Monitoring project progress, deadlines, and resolving design/detailing issues in coordination meetings

QHSE Responsibilities

• Understand, implement andfollow 9E QHSE policies.
• Implement and coordinate QHSEprocedures in your workplace.
• Comply with local regulatoryauthority guidelines and laws pertaining to QHSE.
• Report any QHSE incidentsimmediately to 9E QHSE Dept. and to legal authorities if required.
• Abide Client/Contractor QHSErequirements and acquire site induction before mobilizing at sites.
