Job summary

AECOM UAE is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the Resident Engineer and Project Manager as part of the construction supervision team for major road, infrastructure and landscape projects in the UAE.

The candidate will supervise electrical works, review DEWA and RTA standards, prepare QA/QC procedures, and coordinate with design teams to ensure as-built records and inspection plans are maintained.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum 10 years of experience within similar road and infrastructure projects.
Valid professional engineering license.
Comprehensive knowledge of DEWA and RTA Standards and Specifications.
Proven experience in construction supervision of electrical works for roads infrastructure and landscape projects in UAE/Dubai.
Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control procedures in electrical engineering.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications.
Excellent project management and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Develop QA/QC procedures and inspection plans; monitor inspections and review inspector performance.
Update progress and as-built records; coordinate with design teams for material reviews and queries.
Lead a team and coordinate with multiple disciplines; communicate with client and report progress.
