Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Electrical Engineer for Street Lighting and Traffic Signal projects in Dubai. You will supervise electrical works on roads, bridges and related infrastructure, ensuring compliance with designs and authority requirements, including DEWA coordination and testing/commissioning activities.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a minimum of 8 years of UAE experience on similar projects, with strong focus on roads and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
• Minimum of 8 years of UAE experience on similar roads/infrastructure projects.
• Experience in roads and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical works for roads, bridges, underpasses and related infra including street lighting and LV cable networks.
• Ensure installations comply with designs, specs and authority requirements.
• Review ITPs, shop drawings and material submittals for electrical components.
• Witness testing, commissioning and energization activities.
• Coordinate electrical works with bridge, civil and structural scopes and ensure safe, durable integration.
