Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for road utilities in Dubai, UAE. You will supervise electrical networks for road and infrastructure projects, coordinating with DEWA, RTA, and telecom authorities, and ensuring safety and quality during installation, testing and handover.

Ideal candidates will have 15+ years of UAE road/utility experience, and strong expertise in street lighting, traffic signals, and power distribution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• 15+ years of electrical construction-supervision experience (implied by role)
• Experience with UAE roads and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct the inspection and supervision of electrical infrastructure works.
• Oversee LV-HV networks, power distribution and street-lighting installations.
• Monitor traffic-signal connections, telecom ducts and associated systems.
• Coordinate electrical construction with civil and mechanical activities.
• Prepare concise daily and weekly progress reports.
• Verify compliance with DEWA, ADDC and RTA requirements.
• Attend technical meetings and authority inspections.
