Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the project team overseeing construction supervision of roads, infrastructure, and landscape works in the UAE, Dubai.

Reporting to the Resident Engineer and Project Manager, you will ensure adherence to DEWA and RTA standards, develop QA/QC procedures, review installations, update progress reports, and coordinate with head office on material reviews and design queries while leading a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in similar road and infrastructure projects.
• Valid professional engineering license required.
• Knowledge of DEWA and RTA standards and specifications.
• Experience in construction supervision of electrical works for roads, infrastructure and landscape projects in UAE/Dubai.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures in electrical engineering.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent project management and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive knowledge of DEWA and RTA standards and specifications.
• Develop QA/QC procedures and inspect test plans; follow up inspections and review performance.
• Update progress for all assigned works to the Resident Engineer/Project Manager and contribute to reports.
• Coordinate with Head Office for material reviews and design queries; ensure timely coordination with other disciplines.
• Lead and manage a team; communicate effectively with client and other building disciplines.
