Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the project team overseeing construction supervision of roads, infrastructure, and landscape works in the UAE, Dubai.

Reporting to the Resident Engineer and Project Manager, you will ensure adherence to DEWA and RTA standards, develop QA/QC procedures, review installations, update progress reports, and coordinate with head office on material reviews and design queries while leading a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in similar road and infrastructure projects.
• Valid professional engineering license required.
• Knowledge of DEWA and RTA standards and specifications.
• Experience in construction supervision of electrical works for roads, infrastructure and landscape projects in UAE/Dubai.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures in electrical engineering.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent project management and team leadership skills.

• Lead and manage a team; communicate effectively with client and other building disciplines.

Job description

The Electrical Engineer will work under the guidance of the Resident Engineer and the Project Manager and will join the team of construction supervision works on various types of major road and Infrastructure projects. Projects include construction supervision of roads Infrastructure services and Landscape Works.

Job Duties

• Strong experience in the Construction Supervision of Electrical Works for the Roads Infrastructure and Landscape Projects in UAE/ Dubai.
• Comprehensive knowledge of DEWA and RTA Standards and Specifications.
• Make new procedures for QA/QC as applicable for inspections test plansFollow up set inspection for installations and review the inspectors performance regularly.
• Update progress for all assigned works to the Resident Engineer/ Project Manager to include in his reports Review updated records that would form as-built recordsCheck and coordinate for all assigned services Coordinate with Head office (Design) for all material reviews and design queries.
• Have working knowledge in supervising works as applicable Management experience with the ability to lead a team and communicate and interact with all other building disciplines. Client coordination reporting and communication skills.

• Minimum 10 years of experience within similar road and infrastructure projects
• Valid professional engineering license
• Comprehensive knowledge of DEWA and RTA Standards and Specifications
• Proven experience in construction supervision of electrical works for roads infrastructure and landscape projects in UAE/Dubai
• Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control procedures in electrical engineering
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
• Excellent project management and team leadership skills
