Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to lead all electrical supervision activities on a major construction project in Abu Dhabi. You will manage a team of electrical engineers and inspectors, liaise with the client, contractor, designers, and authorities, and drive resolution of technical issues from pre-construction through testing, commissioning, and handover.

The role requires 15+ years in electrical engineering with at least 5 years in supervision consultancy and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 15+ years in electrical engineering with 5+ years in construction supervision consultancy
• Excellent English communication and report writing

Responsibilities

• Lead technical reviews of shop drawings, submittals, method statements and ITPs for compliance with codes and standards
• Plan and supervise daily inspections, NCRs/CARs, and ensure proper handover documentation
• Coordinate LV/MV/HV distribution, substations, switchgear and protective relay testing
• Coordinate with client, designer, contractors and authorities for approvals and energization
• Lead FAT/SAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and integrated testing; manage handover readiness
