Job summary

AECOM is seeking a senior electrical engineer to lead electrical engineering projects in Abu Dhabi/Al Ain. You will plan, budget, schedule, review detailed designs, supervise installation and commissioning, and ensure safety and quality standards.

You will mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance to project teams and clients, maintain documentation, and ensure HSE compliance. This is a full-time role offering global exposure and growth within a leading firm.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Lead electrical engineering projects from inception to completion including planning budgeting and scheduling.
• Design and Development: Review detailed electrical designs schematics and specifications for construction projects.
• Supervision: Oversee the installation testing and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure they meet project requirements and safety standards.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant codes standards and regulations.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to project teams clients and contractors.
• Documentation: Prepare and review technical drawings reports and documentation.
• Client Interaction: Maintain positive relationships with clients addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and develop junior electrical engineers fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with the companys Health Safety & Environment (HSE) policies.
