Job summary

Artelia seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead design and project delivery from concept through tender-ready documentation in Dubai, UAE. The role emphasizes BIM-enabled processes, complex MV/LV power design, and coordination with aviation and utility standards.

You will guide technical decisions, ensure regulatory compliance, and work with multidisciplinary teams. Ideal candidates bring 8–10 years of electrical design experience, BIM proficiency, and UAE professional eligibility.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of solid electrical design experience, including 3+ years BIM-enabled projects.
• Aviation project experience preferred.
• Active membership with the UAE Society of Engineers.
• Abu Dhabi engineering license (or eligibility) is mandatory.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks; cloud collaboration via BIM 360.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical design lifecycle from concept to tender-ready documentation.
• Design MV/LV power distribution, backup systems, lighting, fire alarms, BMS/SCADA, solar PV, EV charging.
• Perform load calculations, short-circuit mapping, voltage-drop studies, protection coordination.
• Ensure aviation systems align with IATA/ICAO standards and UAE codes.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure DEWA/ADD C/SEWA/SEC compliance.
