9E Global Engineering Consultants LLC in the United Arab Emirates seeks a senior Electrical Engineer with 12-15 years of on-site and consultancy experience to lead electrical supervision on aircraft hangars, maintenance bays, workshops, and logistics areas.

The ideal candidate holds a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering; a Master’s degree or Chartered status is a plus, and Middle East project experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12-15 years of experience on site and in engineering consultancy firms.
• Qualified graduate engineer in Electrical Engineering. Master’s Degree/Chartered Engineering status will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Middle East projects will be highly preferred.
• Experience in airport, aviation, aircraft hangar, or other complex infrastructure projects will be considered an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the on-site supervision of logistics, and electrical works across aircraft hangars, maintenance bays, workshops, warehouses, logistics areas, plant rooms, operational buildings, and associated external works.
• Prepare technical submittals, RFIs, load schedules, voltage drop calculations, and single-line diagrams.
• Attend and act on contractor inspection requests (WIR, MIR) and identify non-compliant work for corrective actions.
• Monitor project progress, verify payments, conduct site walks, and coordinate with QS, commercial teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance to resolve on-site electrical issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations and specifications.
• Lead project delivery, ensuring timely material coordination, quality assurance, and adherence to timelines and standards.
• Review electrical shop drawings, coordination drawings, material submittals, equipment schedules, method statements, inspection and test plans, RFIs, technical deviations, and commissioning procedures for compliance withthe contract and approved design.
• Monitor contractor resources and progress against theapproved programme, identify interface constraints and delays, assess proposedrecovery measures, and maintain accurate supervision records to supportprogress, change, and claims reviews.
