Job summary

Client of Brunel seeks a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical activities across complex Abu Dhabi projects, driving technical excellence from design through commissioning and start-up. The role emphasizes adherence to industry standards and close collaboration with client teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree with 14+ years in GCC oil & gas EPC/EPIC environments, preferably with ADNOC-related experience and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related engineering field.
• 14+ years of relevant experience.
• GCC work experience mandatory.
• Professional engineering certification or registration is advantageous.
• Experience with EPC/EPIC projects in upstream/midstream/downstream oil & gas facilities.
• Experience working with ADNOC Group companies is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of international EI&L standards and engineering practices.
• Language preference: English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Electrical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and ensure compliance of engineering deliverables with project specifications client requirements applicable codes and standards.
• Review electrical drawings specifications datasheets calculations layouts cable schedules single-line diagrams loop diagrams and related engineering documents.
• Coordinate with Engineering Construction Procurement QA QC Commissioning Vendors and Subcontractors to resolve technical and execution-related issues.
• Support preparation and review of MTOs BOQs material requisitions technical evaluations and vendor documentation.
• Monitor engineering progress and ensure timely issuance and approval of required deliverables.
• Provide technical support during construction installation testing pre-commissioning commissioning and start-up activities.
• Review and resolve technical queries RFIs site technical issues and design changes.
• Ensure proper coordination of instrumentation systems control systems electrical equipment cables earthing lighting and related electrical installations.

Minimum Qualification required:

• Master's Degree.
• Minimum 14+Years of relevant years of experience.
• GCC work experience is mandatory.
• Professional engineering certification or relevant professional registration is advantageous.

• Experience working with major oil & gas operators/clients such as ADNOC Group companies is advantageous.
