Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for Dry Utilities in Abu Dhabi to lead on-site supervision of electrical, telecom, and street lighting networks. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, with strong coordination across Contractors, Authorities, and multidisciplinary teams.

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in infrastructure and dry utilities.
Good knowledge of electrical and telecom networks, street lighting, and ducts.

Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor construction of electrical, telecom, street lighting, and dry utility networks.
Oversee utility ducts, chambers, manholes, cable routes, sleeves, crossings, and related works.
Verify construction activities against drawings, specs, ITPs, and project requirements.
Review shop drawings, submittals, method statements, RFIs, and other docs.
Monitor progress, quality, and safety; ensure compliance with approved plans.
Coordinate with Contractors, Authorities, utility providers, and stakeholders.
Monitor testing and inspections of dry utilities and approvals.
Identify technical issues and coordinate corrective actions with the project team.
Manage interfaces between dry utilities and roads, wet utilities, structures, and landscaping.
