Job summary

Surbana Jurong seeks a Senior Dry Utilities Engineer to lead the design and delivery of dry utility networks across major UAE infrastructure projects. The role covers MV, LV, street lighting, and telecom networks with strong coordination across engineering disciplines.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in dry utility design, proven leadership, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and BIM tools. UAE/KSA project experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in design and delivery of dry utility infrastructure.
• Proven experience in MV, LV, Street Lighting and TEL network design.
• Experience on major UAE and/or KSA infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM software, ETAP and DIALux evo; Revit is a plus.

• Prepare, review, and coordinate engineering drawings, BIM models, and documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with company standards, client requirements, and codes/regulations.

• Manage design coordination, QA/QC, technical reviews, and issue resolution.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support project delivery.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Senior Dry Utilities Engineer to provide technical leadership for the design and delivery of dry utility infrastructure across major infrastructure and development projects, including MV, LV, Street Lighting, and Telecommunications networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of Medium Voltage (MV), Low Voltage (LV), Street Lighting (SL), and Telecommunications (TEL) networks.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate engineering drawings, BIM models, and technical documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with company standards, client requirements, and applicable engineering codes and regulations.
• Coordinate dry utility designs with multidisciplinary infrastructure, civil, electrical, and other engineering teams.
• Manage design coordination, QA/QC, technical reviews, and resolution of design issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support project planning, client coordination, and successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in the design and delivery of dry utility infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in MV, LV, Street Lighting, and Telecommunications (TEL) network design.
• Proven experience on major UAE and/or KSA infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM software, ETAP, and DIALux evo, with Revit experience considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of dry utility design standards, multidisciplinary coordination, QA/QC, and engineering best practices.
