Job summary

Egis Group in Dubai is seeking a Principal Engineer - Dry Utilities to lead the design and implementation of comprehensive dry utilities for multi-disciplinary projects. You will drive HV/MV/LV, street and landscape lighting, substations, and pump stations while ensuring adherence to industry standards and client requirements.

You will mentor junior engineers, manage budgets and resources, and deliver high-quality BIM/Civil 3D documentation. UAE regulations familiarity is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in dry utilities with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards, codes, and UAE regulations related to dry utilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of dry utilities projects including HV, MV, LV, street lighting, landscape lighting, substations and pump stations.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships as primary contact for major projects.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer - Dry Utilities to join our innovative team in Dubai United Arab this pivotal role you will lead the design and implementation of dry utilities for various projects ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

• Spearhead the design and implementation of dry utilities projects including HV MV LV street lighting landscape lighting substation and pump station design
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships serving as the primary point of contact for major projects
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
• Prepare and review detailed technical specifications drawings and documentation ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements
• Manage project budgets resources and schedules optimising utilisation and financial performance
• Prepare reports calculations and design documentation using Civil 3D software in a BIM environment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project outcomes
• Stay abreast of industry trends technological advancements and regulatory changes to ensure innovative and compliant solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferred
