Job summary

BroadGrain Commodities Inc. is seeking a Chartering Manager – Dry Bulk to lead the chartering of Handy to Panamax vessels for internal cargoes and third-party shipments. You will optimize fleet utilization, manage end-to-end chartering, and work with traders, logistics and risk teams to drive freight P&L.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in dry bulk chartering, a strong network of owners and brokers, fluent English, and a proven commercial mindset in a fast-paced trading environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in dry bulk chartering.
• Experience fixing both time and voyage charters.
• Existing network of vessel owners and brokers.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and fix tonnage for internal and third-party cargoes.
• Negotiate charter party terms with Owners, Brokers and Operators.
• Manage end-to-end chartering processes.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective shipping of grain cargoes.
• Monitor market movements to capture arbitrage opportunities.
• Collaborate with traders, logistics and risk teams.
• Develop freight strategies aligned with trading desk goals.
