Key Responsibilities
Prepare sections and details in 2D.
Visualize solutions in 3D (rendering).
Prepare production drawings.
Perform quantity surveys.
Utilize technical manuals and directives to ensure compliance with codes and company policies.
Compile data and perform dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Produce General Arrangement of road, road layout, topographic survey, cross sections, setting out details, longitudinal profiles, grading plan, road marking and traffic signs, spot levels plans, pavement plans, traffic signalized junction, roundabouts and traffic impact study drawings.
Produce General Layout Plan of all utilities (potable water, sewerage, stormwater, irrigation, firefighting, gas line, electrical, street lighting, traffic signal and telecom).
Prepare Geometric designs for internal and external roads.
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
8–10 years of experience in road and utilities design, drafting, and surveying
Proficient in 2D drafting and 3D visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or similar).
Strong understanding of geometric road design, grading, pavement design, and traffic engineering principles.
Knowledge of utility network design (water, sewerage, stormwater, irrigation, firefighting, gas, electrical, street lighting, telecom).
Experience in preparing production drawings, quantity surveys, and technical calculations.
Familiarity with local and international codes, standards, and technical manuals.
