Job summary

NMDC in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Document Controller for project documentation management. You will maintain document registers, ensure traceability and support mobilization with HSE-compliant practices for the oil and gas sector.

The role requires understanding engineering deliverables, coordinating with commissioning teams, and providing daily progress reports. A graduate with 10 years in oil and gas and leadership potential is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate.
• 10 years’ experience within the oil and gas industry.
• Leadership and Supervisory potentials.
• Good understanding of specific Engineering discipline and inter-discipline activities.

Responsibilities

• Understand engineering deliverables for the Project.
• Develop tentative deliverable schedule based on the forecast provided by Commissioning Manager/ Team Leader.
• Familiar with activities related with documentation approval process as per the project requirements.
• Familiar with Clients requirements such as turnover cycle, contact points and formats.
• Communicate with Vendor/ Subcontractor, if required.
• Interfaces with various project teams to ensure integration of activities.
• Reports on vendor engagement upon completion of the assignment including taking custody of the Vendor/ Subcontractor time sheets.
• Compliance in accordance with HSE Standard.
