Job summary

RSP Architects Planners & Engineers (Pte) Ltd in Dubai is seeking a Senior Document Controller to manage project document control systems, ensure traceable handling of drawings, transmittals and correspondence across live projects.

You will administer platforms such as Aconex, BIM 360/ACC and SharePoint, oversee revision control and distribution matrices, and train staff on compliant procedures while ensuring proper filing and archives.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 10 years of document control experience in an AEC environment.
• Proficiency in document control platforms such as Aconex, BIM 360/ACC, or SharePoint.
• Strong working knowledge of document control principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Administer document control platforms across assigned projects (Aconex, BIM 360/ACC, SharePoint).
• Manage drawing registers, revision control, transmittals and distribution matrices.
• Ensure all correspondence and submissions are logged, tracked and traceable.
• Support project teams in maintaining compliant document control procedures.
• Coordinate submission and approval workflows with clients, consultants and authorities.
• Train project staff on document control systems and protocols.
• Maintain project archives and ensure close-out documentation is filed correctly.
• Generate regular document status reports for project and senior management.
• Identify and escalate documentation risks to project leadership.
