Job summary

Adidas in Dubai seeks a senior Merchandiser to lead assortment planning, forecasting, and in-season trading for DTC channels including Retail, eCom and Franchise.

The role focuses on data-driven decisions to optimize revenue and margin, aligns with brand strategy, and collaborates with Planning, Finance, Demand planning, SCM and operations to ensure trading actions support business goals.

Qualifications

• University degree in business/Finance/Merchandising.
• Merchandising experience: 10-12 years.
• Management experience: 8 years.

Responsibilities

• Drive overall buying strategy and execution for DTC, meeting KPIs including Net sales, Margin, range efficiency, productivity, and range overlap.
• Drive a compelling range/concept selection for each market balancing brand and commercial considerations.
• Contribute to pre-season planning including Open-To-Buy plan and option planning to build the Ecom merchandising vision.
• Based on the OTB and assortment plan, create buying forecasts aligned with marketing strategy and historical data.
• Provide regular analysis of sell-through performance and strategic planning based on data.
