Job summary

Sundus Recruitment and Outsourcing Services in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Senior Director – Autonomous Mobility to define and scale a new autonomous mobility business. You will own strategy, P&L, and partnerships, with regulatory engagement and governance across safety, cybersecurity, and operations.

You will lead end-to-end commercialization, drive deployment programs, and build a robust ecosystem with government entities, CEP operators, and technology providers, aiming for market

Qualifications

• MBA or advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Technology, Mobility, or related discipline.
• 10–15 years of experience in mobility, logistics, CEP, autonomous vehicles, smart mobility, or adjacent tech-enabled sectors.
• Significant experience in the UAE or GCC.
• Proven track record of launching, scaling, and commercializing new businesses, products, or tech-enabled services.
• Demonstrated P&L ownership and strong commercial track record.
• Experience in startup, venture-building, transformation, or high-growth environments.
• Strong experience engaging with government and regulatory stakeholders.
• Experience with public-private partnerships or government-led innovation programs.
• Strong knowledge of mobility and CEP sectors, including smart cities and urban logistics.
• Practical understanding of autonomous vehicle technologies and deployment models.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the business strategy for autonomous mobility, aligned with growth and innovation.
• Develop scalable commercial models for autonomy across public roads, campuses, and private developments.
• Own the business P&L, including revenue growth, cost management, investment planning, and overall financial performance.
• Lead go-to-market strategy, pricing, customer acquisition, and strategic partnerships.
• Develop and execute deployment programs from business case and pilot to commercial scale; lead regulatory engagement to secure approvals.
• Establish governance across safety, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity, data privacy, and risk management.
• Build strategic partnerships with CEP operators, e-commerce, retailers, government entities, and technology providers.
• Identify opportunities to expand into adjacent autonomous technologies such as robotics and drones.

This is a high-impact business leadership role with end-to-end accountability for strategy, P&L, commercialization, regulatory engagement, strategic partnerships, operations, and organizational development.
