Job summary

EDGE Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to develop desktop and server applications for test equipment, simulations, and UAV support software. The role is based in Abu Dhabi and involves hands-on coding and integration with multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate holds a B.Eng.

in Electronic Engineering or B.Sc. in Computer Science, with at least 7 years of software development experience, familiarity with system engineering, and prior aeronautics exposure.

Qualifications

• B.Eng. in Electronic Engineering or B.Sc. in Computer Science.
• Minimum 7 years working experience in software development.
• Familiarity with the system engineering and software development process.
• Previous working experience within the aeronautics engineering environment.
• Willingness to write code.

Responsibilities

• Develop desktop/server software including Integration Bench and Ground Control System.
• Document, test and review software for high quality end product.
• Apply system engineering and software development processes.
• Write solid C++ code with good design patterns.
• Apply strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary specialists.
• Adhere to ADASI code of conduct.
