EDGE, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to develop desktop and server software for Test Equipment, simulations, and UAV support. The role involves working within ADASI with a focus on robust C++ development in an aeronautics context.

The candidate will document, test, and review code, follow system engineering processes, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver high-quality software. A strong emphasis on problem-solving and design patterns is required.

Qualifications

• B.Eng. in Electronic Engineering or B.Sc. in Computer Science.
• Minimum 7 years working experience in software development environment.
• Familiarity with the system engineering and software development process.
• Previous working experience within the aeronautics engineering environment.
• Willingness to write code.

Responsabilités

• Develop desktop/server software as required, including Integration Bench, Test Bench, Ground Control System.
• Document, test and review developed software to ensure a high quality end product.
• Familiarity with the system engineering and software development process.
• Solid programming experience in C++.
• Good knowledge of coding techniques and design patterns.
• Good software design, problem solving and debugging skills.
• Work closely with specialists in a multidisciplinary team.
• Adhere to ADASI code of conduct.
