Job summary

Remotedxb in Dubai seeks an experienced database and ETL engineer to design schemas, map XML structures to tables, and develop ETL routines using T-SQL, XPath, or XQuery. You will maintain audit logs and plan production migrations with runbooks.

Requirements include 7+ years in server database maintenance, a CS/IT degree, strong SQL, SSIS, EF/EF Core, and familiarity with Agile/SAFe frameworks.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in server database maintenance and administration.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong SQL proficiency in query development, data modeling, and schema optimization.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for discovery, schema design, data mapping, and migration development
• Inventory and analyze XML data sources including schemas, DTDs, and XSDs
• Design normalized relational schemas and map XML hierarchies to tables
• Develop ETL routines utilizing T-SQL, XPath, or XQuery
• Create and maintain audit logs for migrated records
• Plan and execute production migrations using documented Runbooks
• Provide maintenance and migration interval plans for ongoing updates
