• 6+ years of experience as a software engineer and a track record of building data infrastructure at scale.
• Real product sense: know what data is worth extracting and how it will be used.
• Systems thinking: designed data models, indexing strategies, and robust serving paths.
• Built products, not just plumbing; customer-first mindset over schemas.
• Experience wrangling real-world data into structured, reliable forms.
• Bonus: exposure to LLM-powered extraction, search systems, or venture data.

Responsibilities

• Architect and run large-scale pipelines powering Harmonic's understanding of startups, people, and investments.
• Own data quality: coverage, freshness, accuracy, and source diversification.
• Advance extraction and reconciliation toward dynamic, LL-powered agentic workflows with evaluators.
• Collaborate across backend, databases, search indices, and GraphQL APIs to bring data to life.
• Partner with GTM, Product, Design to ship new data products for customers.
