Job summary

Harmonic is seeking a senior software engineer to design and operate large-scale data pipelines that power our startup and investment data platform. You will own data quality, build new ingestion sources, and push towards dynamic, LL-powered workflows that drive product value.

You will collaborate across backend, databases, search, and APIs to deliver data-driven features for customers, with equity on offer and a hybrid, NYC-based work setup.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Strong sense of product requirements and how data is consumed.
• Experience designing scalable data pipelines and serving data at scale.
• Interest in building user-facing features and data products.

Responsibilities

• Architect and run large-scale data pipelines powering startup, people, and investments insights.
• Maintain data quality: coverage, freshness, accuracy; source new data and ingestion methods.
• Advance dynamic, LL-powered agentic workflows and build evaluation to prove them.
• Collaborate with backend, databases, search indices, and APIs to bring data to life in the product.
