Job Overview

TechMantra Global is looking for an experienced Senior Data Architect to join its team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role focuses on enterprise data architecture, data platform and Lakehouse architecture, data modelling, governance and end-to-end data traceability.

The successful candidate will lead architecture, data catalogue and data modelling reviews while validating Medallion and Lakehouse architecture designs. The role requires strong experience with enterprise data and information models, data lineage, Architecture Review Boards and design authority processes.

This opportunity is suitable for senior data architecture professionals with experience working on large-scale data transformation programmes, particularly within government, public-sector or GCC environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Chair architecture, data catalogue and data modelling reviews.
• Define and refine architecture review standards, guidelines and governance practices.
• Review and validate Medallion and Lakehouse architecture designs.
• Validate Bronze, Pre-cleansed Silver, Modeled Silver and Gold data layers.
• Verify end-to-end data lineage from source systems through the Gold layer.
• Validate data models against GIM and UDM.
• Review 3NF and dimensional data models.
• Identify and resolve cross-entity architecture and data design conflicts.
• Provide technical guidance on architecture and data design decisions.
• Challenge and review proposed architecture solutions where required.
• Mentor architects and data modelers.
• Engage with senior stakeholders across multi-vendor programmes.
• Ensure architecture and data designs meet quality, scalability, governance and traceability standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional experience in data architecture or related fields.
• Strong experience in enterprise data architecture.
• Expertise in data platform and Lakehouse architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Medallion Architecture.
• Experience with Bronze, Pre-cleansed Silver, Modeled Silver and Gold layers.
• Strong data modelling and architecture review experience.
• Experience with data lineage and end-to-end traceability.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise data and information models.
• Architecture Review Board (ARB) or Design Authority experience.
• Experience with GIM and UDM.
• Knowledge of 3NF and dimensional data models.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
