Job summary

Halian Group is seeking an experienced Incident Manager in Abu Dhabi to lead Major Incident Management, driving rapid service restoration and stakeholder communications across technology, cyber and cloud domains.

The role requires 8+ years in incident management, strong ITIL/ITSM knowledge, and proven leadership in high-pressure environments within regulated industries. Banking/financial services exposure is a plus, with 24x7 operations experience.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in Incident Management, Major Incident Management, Command Centre Operations, Service Delivery, or IT Operations.
Proven experience managing high-priority incidents in large-scale enterprise environments.
Strong ITIL and governance knowledge with global incident response across time zones.

Responsibilities

Lead Major Incident (P1/P0) response across technology, infrastructure, apps, cloud, and cybersecurity.
Act as Incident Commander during high-severity incidents and drive recovery.
Coordinate cross-functional teams during major service disruptions and communicate to leadership.
Drive post-incident reviews, root cause analysis, and lessons learned.
Track actions to prevent recurrence and improve stability across services.
Collaborate with Change and Problem Management to enhance resilience.
Produce dashboards, service reports, and management insights.
Conduct regular incident simulations and disaster recovery exercises.
