Job summary

Mashreq in Dubai seeks an experienced leader to head the Incident Response team within the Cyber Defense Center. You will coordinate major security incidents, manage containment, recovery, and communications, and drive crisis management efforts.

You will develop incident management policies, conduct post-incident reviews, and mentor team members while maintaining clear, proactive communication with stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12+ years in information security.
• 6-8 years in Security Incident Response.
• Hands-on with SIEM/SOAR tools (Sentinel or ArcSight).
• Familiar with advanced SOC monitoring tech and risk/threat measures.
• Knowledge of NIST 800-61, CERT/CC, PCI, ISO 27035.

Responsibilities

• Lead the incident response team within the Cyber Defense Center.
• Coordinate major security incidents and crisis management.
• Manage incident investigation, analysis, containment, recovery, communication, and reporting.
• Develop and refine incident management policies and procedures.
• Conduct post-incident reviews to identify lessons learned.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
