Job summary

Halian Group seeks an experienced Incident Manager to lead end-to-end Major Incident Management in a complex enterprise. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across technology, infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity, acting as Incident Commander during high-severity incidents and driving rapid restoration.

You will communicate with senior stakeholders, manage cross-region incidents, and drive continual service improvements through post-incident reviews and governance efforts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Incident Management or IT Operations.
• Proven experience handling high-priority incidents in large enterprises.
• Strong expertise in Major Incident Management, ITSM, Problem & Change Management.
• Itil knowledge and governance framework experience.
• Experience coordinating global incident responses across regions/time zones.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and executive reporting skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple technical teams during production incidents.
• Experience in security/cybersecurity operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate major incident response across technology, infrastructure, apps, cloud and cybersecurity.
• Act as Incident Commander during high-severity incidents and drive recovery.
• Facilitate incident bridge calls and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Provide timely communications to business stakeholders and leadership.
• Assess business impact and ensure escalation paths are followed.
• Monitor progress and drive restoration targets and SLAs.
• Conduct post-incident reviews and root cause analyses.
• Collaborate with Change and Problem Management to improve stability.
• Maintain incident playbooks, runbooks and governance.
• Lead incident simulations and disaster recovery exercises.
