Job summary

KONE is seeking a Customer Solutions Order Engineer to provide technical expertise to the sales team and CSEs, translating customer needs into optimal KONE solutions. The role covers non-standard tendering, costing, specifications, and coordination with Supply Line and project teams to ensure feasible, compliant, and maintainable installations.

The incumbent will evaluate integrations, energy calculations, and lead times, ensuring alignment with customer lifecycle needs while upholding KONE

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or another relevant field, or several years of experience in elevator business field operations.
Excellent skills in understanding and translating customer needs into KONE technical specifications.
Understanding of new construction and building modernization processes in the industry and at KONE.

Responsibilities

Collaboration with sales: Responsible for finding optimal technical solutions to meet the customer’s needs for non-standard cases.
Ensures clarity on the solution’s scope, including KONE and possible third-party offerings.
Select the correct product platform to base the offering on; propose solutions from all KONE business lines.
Solution planning – Costing: Responsible for correct APF solution costs.
Involves CSE Engineer and system to understand the cost for integrations.
Solution planning – Specs: Coordinates specification creation.
