Hotel Gold Regency is seeking a Senior Credit Collections Specialist to manage overdue accounts, optimize recovery, and support credit risk management in the UAE. The role requires strong negotiation, analytical skills, and knowledge of UAE regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in credit collections, debt recovery, or accounts receivable management.
• Experience negotiating repayment plans and resolving complex collection cases.
• Strong understanding of credit risk assessment, delinquency management, and recovery procedures.
• Familiarity with UAE commercial, contractual, and debt recovery requirements.
• Experience analyzing customer payment behavior and collection performance data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP/CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee collection activities for overdue accounts and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding balances.
• Develop and implement effective recovery strategies to reduce delinquent balances and improve collection results.
• Review aging reports, payment histories, customer credit profiles, and outstanding balances to prioritize collection efforts.
• Contact customers through appropriate channels to discuss overdue payments and establish repayment commitments.
• Negotiate payment plans, settlements, and repayment schedules within policy and authorization limits.
• Identify high-risk accounts and assess likelihood of recovery to guide escalation.
• Investigate payment disputes, billing discrepancies, unapplied receipts, and customer complaints with Finance and other departments.
• Segment accounts by risk and delinquency to improve recovery efficiency.
• Recommend actions for persistently overdue accounts, including referrals to external agencies where applicable.
• Monitor promised payments and maintain accurate records of collection activities.
• Coordinate with credit teams to review limits, terms, and credit exposure.
• Provide collection updates to support doubtful debt provisions and loss calculations.
• Prepare regular reports on collection performance, overdue balances, and recovery trends.
• Ensure compliance with UAE laws, data protection, and internal policies.
• Maintain complete records of communications, settlements, disputes, and recovery actions.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Sales, Legal, and Finance to resolve issues.
• Guide junior staff and ensure consistent application of procedures.
• Identify opportunities to automate reminders and improve workflows.
