Job summary

Midis Group is seeking a Senior Specialist - Credit in Dubai to assess and manage creditworthiness of customers while reducing DSO and managing collections. The role involves coordinating credit insurance reporting, ensuring policy compliance, and maintaining robust credit files.

The senior specialist will work with Sales and other departments to resolve invoicing issues, establish credit limits, and report timely on financial risks.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable / Collections.
• Strong experience in driving the collections process and monitoring AR aging.
• Ability to work cross-functionally to resolve invoicing, documentation and commercial issues.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on collections of accounts receivable and reconcile discrepancies.
• Deal with customer credit issues in coordination with the sales team.
• Prepare balance confirmations and monthly client statements.
• Maintain customer credit files with supporting documents and regular updates.
• Define and evaluate credit limits based on audited statements and market feedback.
• Approve credit lines within insured limits.
• Report adverse information to the insurance company on time per policy.
• Coordinate with departments to resolve unpaid debts and oversee settlements.
• Streamline LC transactions and ensure LC/BG terms compliance.
• Build relationships and visit customers for financial reviews.
• Prepare periodic MIS and data management reports for Credit Manager.
