Role Description The Senior Corporate Lawyer will work on-site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in a full-time capacity, providing expert legal support on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and corporate documents; advising on company formations, restructurings, M&A transactions, and joint ventures; and ensuring compliance with local and international laws and regulations. The role involves managing client relationships, leading complex transactions, coordinating with external stakeholders, and mentoring junior legal staff. The Senior Corporate Lawyer will also contribute to internal knowledge development, support business development initiatives, and help maintain high professional and ethical standards across the firm’s corporate practice.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in corporate and commercial law, including company formations, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate governance.
• Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts (shareholder agreements, commercial contracts, service agreements, NDAs, and similar documents).
• Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks applicable to businesses operating in Dubai and the wider UAE, including free zone and onshore structures.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex transactions, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and providing clear, strategic legal advice to corporate clients.
• Excellent legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present options and risks in a concise, business-focused manner.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior lawyers, work collaboratively in a team, and maintain professionalism in high-pressure environments.
• Licensed to practice law, with a recognized law degree; prior experience as a corporate lawyer in a law firm or in-house environment, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.
• High ethical standards, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and commitment to ongoing professional development.
