Michael Page is recruiting for a high-impact legal leadership role based on-site in Fujairah, UAE. You will advise the GCEO and senior leaders on corporate, commercial and strategic matters, leading drafting and negotiations of complex agreements across the Group.

You will also support acquisitions, JVs, restructurings and other strategic transactions while driving governance, risk management, and efficient legal operations.

Competenze

• Must be a qualified lawyer with 8–12 years of post-qualification experience in private practice and/or in-house.
• Strong corporate and commercial law background with experience negotiating complex agreements.
• Experience with UAE/GCC environments and working with senior executives.
• Ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives and provide practical advice.

Serve as the principal legal adviser to the GCEO and senior stakeholders on corporate, commercial and strategic matters.Lead the drafting, negotiation, and review of complex commercial agreements across the Group.Support acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, restructurings, and other strategic transactions.Drive legal governance, risk management and legal operations, including matter tracking and reporting.Manage external law firms and legal advisers, ensuring high-quality support and cost-effective outcomes.Build legal frameworks, templates and processes that improve efficiency, consistency, and risk management across the organisation.

Profile

Qualified lawyer (LLB, JD or equivalent) from a recognised institution.Approximately 8-12 years' post-qualification experience, gained in leading private practice and/or in-house environments.Strong corporate and commercial law background with experience negotiating complex agreements.Exposure to M&A, investments, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and legal due diligence.Experience working with senior executives and managing multiple legal matters in a dynamic business environment; UAE/GCC experience highly desirable.Demonstrated ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives, providing practical and solution-oriented advice to business leaders.
