Job summary

Novara is seeking a strategic General Counsel to establish and lead the corporate legal function in the UAE. You will balance high-level vision with hands-on execution, define core processes, and drive growth through risk-aware optimization.

The role reports directly to the CFO and requires broad expertise across commercial law, IP, and governance. The position entails collaborating with stakeholders to foster a collaborative culture while shaping legal strategy to support scalable operations

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial law and software licensing.
• Expertise in professional service arrangements and intellectual property.
• Knowledge of business development, distribution, and marketing arrangements.
• Solid understanding of privacy law.
• Experience with contract and business processes, employment law, procurement, patents, insurance, and corporate finance and governance.
