Job summary

Yello, a fast-growing technology company, seeks a qualified lawyer to join its legal team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements including SaaS, licensing, and partnerships, while acting as a trusted partner to Sales, Technology, Procurement, HR and Finance.

Qualifications

• Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS, supplier, licensing, and partnership contracts.
• Provide pragmatic, risk-based legal advice to support commercial decisions.
• Support corporate governance, internal approvals, and maintenance of legal documentation and records.
• Contribute to compliance frameworks, policy development, and regulatory adherence.
• Own and enhance contract lifecycle management, templates, and legal tracking processes.
• Identify and implement improvements across legal operations, including automation and use of legal tech tools.

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including SaaS, supplier, licensing, and partnership contracts
• Act as a trusted legal partner to business units including Sales, Technology, Procurement, HR, and Finance
• Provide pragmatic, risk-based legal advice to support commercial decision-making and new initiatives
• Support corporate governance, internal approvals, and maintenance of legal documentation and records
• Contribute to compliance frameworks, policy development, and ongoing regulatory adherence
• Own and enhance contract lifecycle management, templates, and legal tracking processes
• Identify and implement improvements across legal operations, including automation and use of legal tech tools

• Qualified lawyer with 3-6 years' PQE from a recognised jurisdiction (common law preferred)
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts, ideally within tech or SaaS environments
• Background in-house or from a reputable law firm with strong commercial exposure
• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and balance legal risk with business objectives
• Experience working in fast-paced or scaling organisations, with a hands‑on and adaptable approach
• Exposure to process improvement, legal operations, or efficiency-driven initiatives is highly advantageous
