Job summary

Wood is seeking a PMC Specialist Engineer (Contracts) to lead contracts management for engineering and construction projects within the energy and materials sectors. The role focuses on contract administration, change management, risk mitigation and governance to protect client interests and ensure successful project delivery.

The candidate will collaborate with legal, commercial, procurement and project teams across multiple regions, mentoring junior staff and driving adherence to governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and relevant professional qualifications in engineering, quantity surveying, construction management, law or related field.
• Master’s degree is preferred for seniority and business understanding.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant oil & gas/energy industry experience.
• Proven ability to manage large contracts and multinational teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review, and administration of engineering, procurement, construction, and service contracts.
• Review terms to ensure compliance with policies and project requirements.
• Provide contractual guidance on interpretation, obligations, and risk mitigation.
