John Wood Group PLC in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced PMC Specialist Engineer (Contracts) to lead the contracts management function for engineering and construction projects, ensuring robust contract administration and governance.

You will provide technical and contractual support throughout the project lifecycle, manage variations and claims, mitigate risks, and coordinate with project, procurement and legal teams to protect commercial interests and support successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in contracts management for PMC/E&C projects.
• Knowledge of contract administration, change management, and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the contracts management function for engineering and construction projects, ensuring effective contract administration, compliance and governance.
• Provide technical and contractual support throughout the project lifecycle, from tendering to close-out.
• Minimize commercial and contractual risks while protecting the organization’s interests.
• Ensure timely management of contract variations, claims, disputes, and stakeholder communications.
• Collaborate with project, engineering, procurement, legal, and commercial teams to achieve project objectives.
