Job summary

Wood, a global engineering and project management leader, seeks an experienced PMC Senior Site Construction Engineer to oversee and coordinate site activities on behalf of the client. You will ensure safe execution, adherence to schedules, and quality against project design and contractual requirements.

As part of Wood’s Energy & Materials division, you will contribute to complex engineering projects and participate in handover activities, while mentoring junior staff and promoting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Construction, Structural, or related Engineering discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in construction execution and site management within oil & gas, LNG, petrochemical, refinery, power, energy, or major infrastructure projects.
• Proven PMC, EPC, or EPCM project experience on large-scale brownfield and greenfield projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, installation practices, sequencing, and multidisciplinary site execution.
• Demonstrated experience managing contractors, subcontractors, construction supervisors, and site personnel.
• Extensive experience coordinating civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all site construction activities to ensure safety, efficiency, and conformance with drawings and project requirements.
• Monitor contractor performance, productivity, manpower, equipment, and resource utilization.
• Coordinate construction activities across disciplines and ensure compliance with HSE, codes, and quality standards.
• Review and approve construction methodologies, work packs, method statements, and schedules.
• Participate in constructability reviews and provide input to improve safety and efficiency.
• Support project controls with progress updates, forecasts, and reporting information.
• Coordinate testing, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover activities.
