Job summary

You will coordinate with PMs and engineering teams, supervise subcontractors, uphold HSE standards, manage resources, and mentor staff while aligning with McDermott policies and the project plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Extensive EPCI project leadership in fabrication construction.
• Knowledge of modern fabrication techniques in construction/EPCI.
• HSE systems management experience; health and safety certifications preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent client negotiation and stakeholder management.
• Willingness to travel; long hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage fabrication construction activities per specs, schedules, and standards.
• Coordinate with PM and engineering teams on phases and resources.
• Uphold high safety standards with comprehensive HSE protocols.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with industry codes and project quality requirements.
• Optimize resources: workforce, equipment, materials.
• Oversee subcontractors and vendors per contracts.
• Maintain project documentation and provide progress updates.
• Mentor staff and promote skill development.
• Interface with project discipline planning for clear target plan.
• Plan activities for the next 4 weeks and assign people to boost productivity.
• Lead implementation and verification of McDermott policies and procedures.
• Ensure staff understand responsibilities to implement policies.
• Ensure timely completion of mandatory training.
