Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Dubai seeks a Senior Project Manager to act as the primary client interface, ensuring objectives are met and projects are delivered on time, to budget and to quality, sustainability and safety standards.

The role demands strong pre/post‑contract delivery experience, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex, large‑scale building projects with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years project management experience.
• Recognised PM qualification and professional body membership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement governance, communication and control systems for project delivery.
• Review organizational structures and propose alignment measures.
• Monitor team performance and initiate safety or performance improvements.
• Audit compliance with management system requirements and report findings.
• Identify risks and actively manage mitigations.
• Lead weekly technical and progress meetings for services and works.
• Manage client stage gateway reviews and conditions precedent.
• Ensure design stage deliverables meet schedule and quality targets.
• Attend sites to review HSSE, logistics and progress against programme.
• Produce progress reports and present findings to the Employer’s representative.
• Prepare weekly/monthly/ad-hoc reports and conduct presentations.
• Manage and protect the client’s contractual interests.
• Oversee timely issuance of invoices and receipts per contract.
