Job summary

Decima International in Dubai seeks an experienced Legal / Contractual Advisor to provide legal, contractual, and commercial support for large-scale construction and EPC projects in the UAE. The role requires strong knowledge of UAE law, FIDIC-based contracts, and risk management to protect the client’s commercial position.

The ideal candidate will advise project teams on contractual rights, obligations, risks, notices, variations, and disputes throughout the project lifecycle, including

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a construction lawyer, contractual advisor, or senior contracts professional.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field; UAE construction law knowledge.
• Strong EPC contract drafting, review, and administration experience.
• Knowledge of UAE law and FIDIC-based contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal and contractual advisory support for EPC, construction, and supplier agreements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate EPC contracts and related documents.
• Advise on contractual rights, obligations, risks, and remedies to project leadership and teams.
• Support tender reviews, contract negotiations, and contract closeout activities.
• Coordinate with project teams to identify and manage contractual risks and disputes.
